As foreign tourists, we loved the hostel's quiet location and the nice, spacious rooms. the common kitchen and fridge were convenient for cooking our own meals and storing food. the sanitary rooms were clean and well-maintained. the hostel had a charming old-school design with interesting interiors. the staff at the reception desk were friendly and helpful, providing us with useful information. We also enjoyed the peaceful garden and indoor chill-out area. it was a place with a soul and plenty of space for us to relax.
Felt truly looked after, no complaints.

Staff were very friendly, our room was spacious and clean, though we had requested a double room if possible, and were still given a twin room. Shared bathroom facilities were good. Free wifi throughout. Public transport (bus, trams and metro) relatively close-by. Recommended for backpackers on a budget.
Our request for a double room was ignored, and we were given a twin room, though were not told if this was down to all double rooms being booked up. Be prepared for potential disappointment if you're a young couple.

I stayed in Prague overnight only because I booked a flight on the next day early in the morning from there, so for me Hostel Dakura was the best option. It is around 5 minutes from the bus stop with direct bus line to the airport. The location is excellent, there are restaurants, fast foods, supermarkets, banks and metro station/bus and tram stop in the closest area. The price is also acceptable for an European capital like Prague.Rooms were clean and everything was working.Stuff is nice and speaks English.
The building really needs a renovation. It looks very old and remember me to 1980s. If you stay for up to four nights and don´t expect too much it is ideal for you, because facilities are clean and working even if very old. They don´t offer breakfast which is a disadvantage for me, and also the reception is outmoded, without any computer so that you feel like before 20 years.

This hostel is conveniently located near a metro station, making it easy to explore the city. The city center is also within walking distance, allowing for quick access to all the main attractions. Additionally, the hostel offers a well-equipped kitchen where guests can prepare their own meals.
The staff at the hostel is not very friendly or accommodating.

The room was clean, the receptionist was very kind, young and spoke English very well.
The hotel was really old, dirty and in a freaking area with old and empty houses... It was really a 1940's atmosphere, with very old walls and tiles, still pipes on the walls, etc. There is no lift, only staircase. It is shared bathrooms so you must not forget to lock the room if you don't want that people come when you're under the shower. There is nearly no noise isolation, we heard everyone walking in the hall or in their room. The bed had no mattress, only the base, which made it difficult to sleep on it... Only the furniture in the room was new, clean and modern, fort the rest it was all but attracting.

Staff was polite and helpful. They helped us book a taxi for an early morning trip to the airport. The room was very clean and towels were provided. It was a nice stay and only a quick tram ride to the city center.

The personal touch and daily room cleaning made me feel well taken care of. The location was excellent, easily accessible by metro or tram, and there were great cafes and restaurants nearby.

the rate is relatively cheap for big and clean room. The location is quite good, but unfortunately not all staffs are helpful.

The price was reasonable and the rooms were very clean. The location is ok since the metro is close by which take you to the centre in 10 min.
The receptionist left me to wait an hour before l was allowed to check in for no apparent reason. The room was very cold, in September, with no heating. There is no kitchen facility.

Price is appreciable in the hot tourism season in prague!
The staff is helpless, there is no any e-work things, all the check- in/out procedure done by handwritting, it cost ages (for me roughly half an hr for check in) the wifi is only available in the lobby room and it will be closed at 12:00 in the night.

We got great value for our money with a clean and cozy room, complete with a convenient sink. The location was perfect - nestled in a quiet area, yet easily accessible to the bustling parts of the city via tram or underground.
As for breakfast, it would have been nice to have a wider variety of options.

The price and the location of this hostel are very good. There is a metro station really close or if you prefer walking to the city center it will take around an hour. The Prague Castle is some 15 min. Walk from hostel. Rooms are the ones from the photos, so they are good and they keep them quite clean.
The building and the installations are really old. The shared bathroom isn´t clean at all, and there is only one shower. After 22h there isn´t any hot water. The walls are thick so you can hear everything from the rooms on that floor. They are calculating strange exchange rate (much higher than the one in bancs) so it is much better to pay in Euros , because if you pay in local currency you will actually pay at least 10 Euros more. If you can afford go to some other hostel/hotel.
